Ideal for an outing as a couple, with family or friends, our Dinner on Board offers you a real romantic dinner in the Baie de Somme. From the start, the steam locomotive immerses you in an authentic and warm atmosphere. The route allows you to admire the natural panoramas, wildlife and vast spaces of the bay, ranked among the most beautiful bays in the world.
A local and refined culinary experience
The aperitif is served to you facing the port of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme. The train then continues its route to Noyelles-sur-Mer, where you enjoy your entrance. Then, back towards Saint-Valery, the convoy marks a stop on the Digue du Fond de Baie, a privileged place where the rest of the meal is served to you. The gourmet dinner, prepared by a local caterer, highlights local products. A tasty cuisine for a memorable evening.
The key moment: the sunset on the dike
Halfway through, the train pauses on the dike, offering a spectacular view of the sunset in the Baie de Somme. This privileged moment is one of the most appreciated: a unique natural spectacle, perfect to immortalize this escapade.

Fridays and/or Saturdays
Thursday, May 14, 2026 (Ascension)
Meeting at 6:30 PM at the workshop of the Saint-Valery Canal depot
(Quai Jules Verne, 80230 Saint-Valery-sur-Somme).
The train leaves at 19:00 towards the port of Saint-Valery then to Noyelles-sur-Mer where our management team will perform some maneuvers.
On the way back, stop off at the dike of Fond de Baie to enjoy your dinner in an exceptional setting.
Return to the Saint-Valery Canal depot around 11:00 PM.
For groups of 25 people minimum, personalized solutions at the date of your choice are available to accompany your events (birthday meal, family reunion, wedding...).

This rate includes train travel, menu and wine.

Gift Voucher: 5 € including tax (For the Christmas holidays, the request must be made before December 10th)
Any gift voucher must be requested at the time of booking your dinner. It will only be sent by post.

No gift voucher can be issued without a precise reservation date.

The payment is made in full at the time of booking.
Online purchase automatically guarantees the reservation of your meal on board the train.
If you prefer to book by post, please contact our sales department for the procedure to follow.
Changes or cancellations on your part are possible before the date of the trip, in accordance with our general conditions of sale.
In case of bad weather (rain and/or wind) or technical damage, we reserve the right to adapt or modify the originally planned route.

For reasons of comfort and safety, young children are not allowed on board our restaurant trains.
Dogs and strollers are not allowed on board the restaurant train.
Our restaurant cars are not accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Our vintage trains do not have heating: consider providing suitable clothing for your comfort.
Free parking is available at the Dépôt-Atelier de Saint-Valery Canal.
