- THE PROGRAMME OF YOUR DAY -
Weekday only
from April to October 2026 (according to predefined schedule)
7:30 AM – Reception at the locomotive depot of Le Crotoy
(Meeting at the foot of the water tower, at the entrance of the city)
7:30 AM to 10:30 AM – Preparation and ignition of the steam locomotive
Discovery of the first essential steps to start up a historic machine.
10:30 AM to 11:00 AM – Train preparation
Setting the locomotive head and carrying out safety tests.
11:00 AM to 12:00 AM – First passenger train
Observation of driving in real-life situations and discovery of the technical aspects of a running steam locomotive.
12:00 AM to 2:00 PM – Lunch break with the driving team
Picnic provided.
2:00 PM to 2:30 PM – Resumption of service
Train preparation, locomotive heading and safety tests.
2:30 PM to 6:30 PM – Participation in traffic on the "Réseau des Bains de Mer"
Immersion alongside the team on regular passenger trains.
6:30 PM to 7:00 PM – Parking the locomotive
Latest technical end of service operations.
7:00 PM – End of the day

(Mandatory minimum age: 18)
This rate includes your "Steam at the Première Loges" day with the driving team and your picnic consisting of a terrine, a traditional baguette, a dessert and a drink.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
Online booking is mandatory and must be made at least 15 days before the date of travel.
You can modify or cancel your order before the day of departure, in accordance with our general conditions of sale.
- To Know -
Wear 100% fire-resistant cotton workwear (no nylon clothing): blouse or pants and jacket, a pair of gloves and safety shoes.
For the spouse and accompanying children still dependent, one return per person is offered.
